Pending comments by readers on my ambition to become an independent MP, I intend to publish occasional thoughts on what is bad about current Government policy and actions as well as my own ideas on policies for a saner world and a better United Kingdom.
Our current Government has recently begun a series of TV "bedtime story" advertisements aimed at frightening children into believing that unimaginable climate disasters are just around the corner unless they bully their parents and other adults to stop emitting CO2 (carbon dioxide.) The advertisements' confusion of CO2, a trace gas which is not just beneficial but absolutely essential to all forms of life on earth, with soot and other real pollutants is already scientifically disreputable enough : but I believe that, whatever our individual views on human activity being the principal driver of ever-changing world climate (in my own opinion, and that of many hugely distinguished scientists whose calm views are seldom heard in the mainstream alarm-loving media, a very improbable and definitely unproven hypothesis) we should all protest vigorously against this extremely distasteful campaign, which is reminiscent of the way the Nazis used children to coerce adults into complying with their wicked policies and which sounds just like George Orwell's "1984."
